Ironing Board Cover in Bristol
Bristol's terraced streets in Bedminster, Southville and Bishopston, plus Clifton's larger Georgian flats, mean ironing often shares space with other rooms. Many Bristol homes have narrow hallways and no dedicated utility area, so a cover that keeps its fit when the board is set up again and again matters.
Why Bristol customers choose ROBINAZ
Bristol's tap water is generally hard because of the limestone it comes through, so limescale in steam irons is a real maintenance point here, and flakes can mark a light cover. A 4-layer cotton cover is easy to launder at 30°C, and the felt and foam padding gives a softer press than a single layer. Following your iron manual on distilled or demineralised water helps protect both the iron and the cover.

Good to know in Bristol
- Bristol water is generally hard; descale your steam iron regularly and use the water type your iron's manual recommends.
- If limescale flakes mark the cover, wash it at 30°C on a gentle cycle and air dry.
- Measure your board before ordering; older boards in rented Bristol homes are not always standard sizes.
The 4-layer padded design
Cotton top layer
Smooth cotton surface glides cleanly under a hot iron.
Felt padding
Roughly 6–7 mm of felt cushions the board frame so it doesn't imprint on darker fabrics.
Foam layer
Adds bounce and helps steam disperse evenly through the fabric.
Non-slip backing
Holds the cover in place on the board frame during longer ironing sessions.
Size guide before ordering
The ROBINAZ cover fits UK standard boards — typically 122×38 cm and 125×45 cm. Measure the top surface of your board (length × width at widest) before ordering. If your board is between sizes, our size guide shows how the elastic edge accommodates a small margin of variation.
