Ironing Board Cover in Leicester
Leicester's Victorian terraces in Highfields and Clarendon Park, along with the suburban homes of Oadby, Wigston and Aylestone, make for households with a lot of everyday ironing: work shirts, school uniforms and bed linen for larger families.
Why Leicester customers choose ROBINAZ
Leicester's water is generally hard, so steam irons build up limescale faster than in soft-water areas, and regular descaling protects both the iron and the board cover. The 4-layer cotton cover gives a smooth, cushioned surface and can be washed at 30°C when it needs refreshing. The adjustable straps and full elastic edge keep it fitted under regular use.

Good to know in Leicester
- Leicester water is generally hard; descale your iron and use the water type its manual suggests.
- For larger households, check the cover for shine or flattened padding every year or two.
- Measure your board before ordering; the cover fits 125 x 45 cm and 122 x 38 cm.
- Check the cover lies flat with no wrinkles before you start ironing, as creases in the cover can mark the garment.
The 4-layer padded design
Cotton top layer
Smooth cotton surface glides cleanly under a hot iron.
Felt padding
Roughly 6–7 mm of felt cushions the board frame so it doesn't imprint on darker fabrics.
Foam layer
Adds bounce and helps steam disperse evenly through the fabric.
Non-slip backing
Holds the cover in place on the board frame during longer ironing sessions.
Size guide before ordering
The ROBINAZ cover fits UK standard boards — typically 122×38 cm and 125×45 cm. Measure the top surface of your board (length × width at widest) before ordering. If your board is between sizes, our size guide shows how the elastic edge accommodates a small margin of variation.
