Ironing Board Cover in Nottingham
Nottingham has a large student population around Lenton, Beeston and the university campuses, plus family homes in West Bridgford, Arnold and Carlton. Student lets often come with an old, unbranded board, so replacing a worn cover is the cheapest way to improve how it works.
Why Nottingham customers choose ROBINAZ
The East Midlands water supply is generally hard, so descale your steam iron regularly and follow the iron's manual on water type. A washable 4-layer cover with felt and foam padding gives a cushioned surface, and the non-slip backing and elastic edge make it practical for boards that move between rooms or houses.

Good to know in Nottingham
- Nottingham water is generally hard; descaling the iron regularly helps prevent flakes marking the cover.
- Moving house or changing student lets? A standard-size cover is easy to fit to the next board you find.
- Wash the cover at 30°C on a gentle cycle.
The 4-layer padded design
Cotton top layer
Smooth cotton surface glides cleanly under a hot iron.
Felt padding
Roughly 6–7 mm of felt cushions the board frame so it doesn't imprint on darker fabrics.
Foam layer
Adds bounce and helps steam disperse evenly through the fabric.
Non-slip backing
Holds the cover in place on the board frame during longer ironing sessions.
Size guide before ordering
The ROBINAZ cover fits UK standard boards — typically 122×38 cm and 125×45 cm. Measure the top surface of your board (length × width at widest) before ordering. If your board is between sizes, our size guide shows how the elastic edge accommodates a small margin of variation.
