Ironing Board Cover in Portsmouth
Looking for an ironing board cover in Portsmouth? The ROBINAZ 4-layer padded cotton cover is made for UK boards of 125 × 45 cm and 122 × 38 cm, for homes in Southsea, Portsea, Copnor, North End, Milton and Eastney.
Why Portsmouth customers choose ROBINAZ
A padded cover makes the board surface more forgiving under the iron. The ROBINAZ cover layers a cotton top over felt, foam and a non-slip backing, and uses a nose pocket, an elasticated edge with drawcord and two underboard straps to stay in place on a matching board. Households on Portsea Island and across to Gosport, Fareham or Waterlooville often iron uniforms, work shirts, linen and bedding each week, so replacing a tired, flattened cover with a properly fitted padded one is a small, practical change worth making.

Good to know in Portsmouth
- Measure the length from nose to flat end and the width at the widest point before ordering.
- Check the cover lies flat with no wrinkles before you start ironing, as creases in the cover can mark the garment.
- Let the cover air dry fully after washing before you put it back on the board.
The 4-layer padded design
Cotton top layer
Smooth cotton surface glides cleanly under a hot iron.
Felt padding
Roughly 6–7 mm of felt cushions the board frame so it doesn't imprint on darker fabrics.
Foam layer
Adds bounce and helps steam disperse evenly through the fabric.
Non-slip backing
Holds the cover in place on the board frame during longer ironing sessions.
Size guide before ordering
The ROBINAZ cover fits UK standard boards — typically 122×38 cm and 125×45 cm. Measure the top surface of your board (length × width at widest) before ordering. If your board is between sizes, our size guide shows how the elastic edge accommodates a small margin of variation.
